I downloaded this a couple of days ago and have been trying everything under and over the sun to get this game to work. Following the various suggestions in the comments. And it simply does no more than start up, as soon as I click the play button, it acts as if it’s beginning to load up for a few seconds, then crashes.
Games For Windows Live isn’t the issue. Running Windows 10 (HISSS!) I have no ideas left to try at this point. While installing the game, a notification of some sort popped up regarding advpack.dll, having checked that, that particular.dll file is already installed. I’ve also tried all of the compatibility modes, they didn’t work. (I’ve yet to see that actually work with anything).
So I’m completely at a loss.Best regards & hope someone has any ideas. I’m not a computer expert, but I can muddle my way through in most cases.

Hi, everything is working great except 1 thing. The guns make no sound! When I shoot or reload there is no sound. All other sounds seem to be working (I’ve never played this before to be sure but it seems ok). I got a few errors during install saying it was missing a file or couldn’t install a certain file. I tried clicking “retry” a few times but it still didn’t work so I clicked “skip”, I’m assuming the files I skipped are the missing sounds. Should I delete it and try to redownload it, then reinstall?
